Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced Overwatch 2 at their Blizzcon 2019 event. The game will include new characters and maps, one being a map based on Toronto that reimagines a futuristic version of the city with nods to city landmarks and, yes, the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In the first set of photos released by Blizzard, you can spot Toronto City Hall with a Leafs-inspired statue out front, as well as the CN Tower and the game’s take on Toronto’s streetcars and taxis.

We wonder how the Leafs are doing in the Overwatch timeline, set sixty years in the future in the first game. Do they ever finally beat the Overwatch universe’s Boston Bruins in the playoffs?

All of the maps in Overwatch are based in real world locations, and it’s cool to see Toronto’s downtown core recreated as a playable location in the game.

No release date has been announced for the game just yet, but this cinematic trailer for the game might tide you over until then.
