All-Female broadcasts have been dominating across major sports including the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB. Thought it appears that when Melanie Newman joined the rest of the all-female panel to partake in MLB’s historic night, she definitely left her mark on one baseball fan.
Enter Ellee, a young Baltimore Orioles fan who decided to take on a pretty awesome twist at showing her support with a sign.
“Hey Melanie Newman, need help in the booth? #Girls”
Ellee and her sign were picked up on the Orioles broadcast, but the night only got better for the young girl.
She got to meet her idol!
This moment is what it’s all about. There’s nothing more we love than to see the inclusion of women within baseball along with all other sports.
