Hockey season is just around the corner, folks.

From new age millennials to old-school hockey enthusiasts, fans of the sport are chomping at the bit to get the season started much like the players and prospects of all 31 NHL teams.

In the past few and next days, teams will release the official details around their camp regarding days, start times, location, and the type of activities that the two different groups made up of roster players and hopefuls that will eventually be trimmed down towards the start of the regular season.

Up until now, the information presented to the public is generally done in a simple manner issued by the team's PR staff.

Well, the Carolina Hurricanes are taking things to a whole different level. The team announced the lowdown on this year's camp under new bench boss Rod Brind'Amour that kicks off on Friday, September 14th.

Team eye-test and grit grinders will certainly love that, and so will the USA Hockey's management team that constructed their 2016 World Cup of Hockey roster.

Hopefully, the players will be getting pucks on net if not in deep, finishing their checks while looking like a beauty in the process. The Hurricanes have assembled a solid prospect pool and group of young talent, and it could be only a matter of time before they grit and grind their way into a playoff spot.

If that doesn't sum up hockey culture, then we're not sure what does.
