There were a lot of moments that went viral during the Toronto Raptors’ run to capture their first-ever NBA title, from on the court to behind the scenes, the cameras caught everything.
One video that made its rounds online that fans of all teams seemed to get a kick out of was the moment when Norman Powell attempted to give Kawhi Leonard daps before Game 3 of the NBA Finals only to get denied.
On Friday, Powell was in attendance at the Raptors Basketball Academy and it turns out Leonard’s snub has caught on among the young Raptors fans.
According to Powell, even the kids won’t give him daps these days so he pretended to start a GoFundMe account where all he’s asking for is daps from fans.
