It’s been nearly three weeks since the Humboldt Broncos hockey team was involved in a tragic bus accident and people around the world are still doing their best to show support for the community and the families affected by the tragedy during this tough time.
The final game of the year took place on Tuesday night as the Nipawin Hawks and the Estevan Bruins went head-to-head in Game 7 of the championship series. The Hawks ended up capturing the Canalta Cup in front of a sold out home crowd and they paid tribute to the Broncos the entire way.
The Hawks switched in their regular helmets for green ones, which they rocked all series long in honour of the Humboldt Broncos.
