The James Harden drama has finally finished. Well, let’s be safe and just say it’s reached its next chapter. The Beard finally had his wish granted and was dealt away from the Houston Rockets, joining his old pal Kevin Durant and new pal Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn.
Understandably, it was a pretty complicated trade. It involved more than just the Nets and the Rockets, too. The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Indiana Pacers were also involved in the blockbuster trade.
It's not very often you see a deal of that magnitude. As a result, the whole NBA landscape was turned on its head, particularly in the Eastern Conference in which three of the four teams call home.
What does that mean for the Toronto Raptors? We’ll have to wait and see, but we all know what the unapologetically biased Nick Nurse wants:
Ahhh, a picture worth exactly two, well-thought out, all-encapsulating, fan base-riling words. One of them is “Brooklyn”.
