While there are no alternate jerseys for teams this season, you can always depend on Winter Classic or any other special outdoor game to offer some throwback threads.
This year, the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators will be facing off in the NHL 100 Classic to celebrate 100 years of the NHL. The two teams have a lot of history, so they are throwing it back to some of the older designs from their organization.
For the Habs, it’s a late 1930s white jersey and the Sens are bringing back the classic ‘O’ jersey, which is sure to make some fans happy.
So far, the only other team to have any jersey to celebrate their 100th season is the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Buffalo Sabres and New York Rangers will receive special jerseys for their Winter Classic matchup, but so far, they have only released their logos for the event.
Hopefully we continue to see team’s reveal special jerseys for this season, because we love to see as many jersey variations as possible.
