Kawhi Leonard’s health has been one of the main talking points in the NBA over the past two and a half years as the two-time NBA champion continues to work on a managed workload.
However, it appears that the NBA has heard enough about Kawhi’s workload and aren’t exactly buying into that he’s still nursing an injury so they handed the Clippers a $50,000 fine on Thursday.
Well, it looks like we might not have to talk about Leonard’s load management for the rest of the season after this unless the Clippers are perfectly fine handing over money to the league every other week for resting Leonard when they have no reason to.
Of course, since a lot of people have been calling fake news on Leonard’s injury since he was with the San Antonio Spurs, there were a lot of jokes going around on Twitter.
In six games with the Clippers Leonard is averaging 29.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 2.3 steals and 1 block per game.
