LeBron James seriously played in yet another overtime.
The Los Angeles Lakers went into the third straight OT on Wednesday night before beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 114-113. In the past three games, he’s played more than 40 minutes! For reference, he didn’t even exceed that in the 2020 NBA playoffs.
After the Lakers game against the Detroit Pistons on February 6, LeBron joked after about how unhappy he was that the game had to go into double OT before they won.
It’s funny because we all forget about the fact that LeBron turned 36 years old last December. It’s not normal for the average person to be achieving what LeBron is, so imagine doing it when you’re 36! With that said, we all know that LeBron isn’t very human-like! What do you expect? For the Lakers to just not play him in OT? Of course not, he’s LEBRON JAMES! That’s just simply not an option. Also, he’s clearly more than capable of competing still.
Regardless, NBA fans are making jokes on Twitter about the King having to play yet ANOTHER OT at his age.
