Everyone’s favourite team chaplain is starting to feel the heat of being in the spotlight.

Last week, we told you about Jalen Rose’s 100-year-old grandmother (who still supports the Wolverines after all these years of Rose no longer playing there) calling out Sister Jean, essentially saying that Loyola-Chicago’s magical Cinderalla run would soon be coming to an end.

Well, Rose’s grandma isn’t the only one going at the Loyola super fan. A Michigan bank has decided show its support by buying several billboards that feature funny, tongue-in-cheek messages dressed up in Michigan’s signature blue and yellow colour scheme.

One of the messages from the Bank of Ann Arbor featured a shot at the nun.

“Sister Jean will soon know the difference between heaven and hail.”

Shots fired. This all comes during Holy Week, too, where Christians honour the week before Easter. While we wait for a response from a Chicago bank, here’s the Michigan fight song that’ll put the creative saying into better context.

Going at a nun during Holy Week doesn’t seem like a good idea if you’re Michigan. But since, they’re heavily favoured, they probably feel confident in ending the Loyola’s surprise run in the tournament, although we’re sure other teams have though the same and are on the outside looking in.
