Michael Jordan did plenty of celebrating during his 15-year NBA career as he captured six NBA championships, six NBA Finals MVP awards and five NBA MVP awards, but this past Friday he celebrated something non-basketball related.

On the eve of Jordan’s 55th birthday, the 1985 NBA Rookie of the Year celebrated his birthday and you can bet the location of the event was absolutely incredible.

According to ESPN’s Arash Markazi, Jordan rented out this fantastic $100 million, 31,000-swuare foot mansion in Bel-Air for his bash.

The mansion recently hit the market for $100 million and includes 12 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, five bars, a two-lane bowling alley, a theatre, a wine cellar, a commercial-grade elevator, an outdoor infinity pool with a waterfall and spa, an outdoor putting green with a 50-foot fire feature, a 40,000 square-foot patio and a 14-car garage that can house 70 cars.

When you’re one of the most successful athletes of all-time you might as well go all out for your birthday.
