Mic'd up audio shows a prophetic Vladdy Jr. predicting a play right before it happens

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has taken the MLB by storm in 2021, living up to the potential he flashed in his first two seasons. Vladdy is absolutely tearing the cover off the ball as he sits at or near the top of most major MLB batting leaderboards.

That’s not the only skill he has when it comes to baseball, however!

After reaching base against the Seattle Mariners, Vladdy ended up chatting with a friendly Ty France. The Mariners 1^st baseman expressed surprise that Vladdy is still getting strikes, and goes on to challenge the young Jays slugger to steal 2^nd base.

Vladdy explains that there is no need, because Randal Grichuk is about to hit a double, presumably scoring Guerrero.

That’s… exactly what happened.

France seemed impressed by the prediction coming to fruition, he went and told the umpire that Vladdy had, in fact, said that Grichuk was about to double.

The prediction was a hit with the fans.
