Jerry Jones finally cut ties with Jason Garrett, and is now in the process of moving on from the former Dallas Cowboys head coach. It didn’t take long for Jones to find Garrett’s replacement – in fact, it seems like he may have found Garrett’s replacement before firing Garrett based on this very awkward interaction. We digress.
Mike McCarthy is now going to take a stab at coaching the Cowboys, hoping to draw them out of their perpetual mediocrity. When introduced for the first time to the media, he revealed a hilarious little tidbit that may have ‘Boys fans laughing uncomfortably.
It was all said in a joking way, but also… I mean… ????????
Maybe this isn’t a red flag to be concerned about, but it sound like he ACTUALLY DID lie to trick Jones. Keep in mind, all of this was said while sitting right next to Jones.
Fans had a mixed bag of reaction to the clip.
