Jumbotrons are extremely underrated.
Yes they’re a small part of the game but they aren’t talked about nearly enough at sporting events. Whether it’s used to pump the crowd up, show highlights, or make jokes it’s a huge reason for why the experience is so great.
One thing they’re known for is broadcasting personalized messages. Usually they’re pretty wholesome like happy anniversary or even a happy birthday wish. However, somebody in San Francisco completely took it to the next level.
A fan seriously paid money to put a message saying "HAPPY DIVORCE MAX, BACK IN THE GAME" on the Giants scoreboard.
What a great friend!
Thankfully it didn’t go to waste and the sign made its way to Max.
Iconic.
