Mitch Marner, Auston Matthews and the other Leafs rookies have quickly become stars in the NHL, so they likely get recognized all around Toronto when they’re out and about.
Of course, that’s not always the most convenient way to enjoy a day or to get somewhere by foot, but sometimes you have no choice. So, what do you do? You find a disguise. Marner donned a full-torso sweater in the style popularized by Bape, in which the sweater zips all the way up to the top of your head.
Matthews filmed Marner on the street wearing the hoodie, but they may need to get a couple more to hide the whole crew. It’s pretty easy to guess who’s under there when you’ve got Matthews, Fredrik Andersen and Matt Martin walking around beside him.
