Normally Marshawn Lynch doesn’t say anything to the press. Even at his introductory press conference when he returned to the Seahawks, he kept it short and sweet.
But when you can get Beast Mode talking, you get pure gold. The Seahawks running back was asked, “what impresses him about D.K. Metcalf”, and his answer was vintage Marshawn Lynch.
D.K. Metcalf is most certainly a big guy. He’s 6’3” and showed off just how athletic he can be in Seattle’s win over Philly. Metcalf put up 160 yards in his postseason debut, setting an NFL record for the most receiving yards by a rookie in a playoff game.
Marshawn Lynch and D.K. Metcalf are now two of Russell Wilson’s biggest weapons. They’ll have to be at their best as they’re off to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
