Marshawn Lynch has gotten into trouble in the past for reasons to do with his media availability, but he’s making sure that doesn’t happen again in Oakland.
Lynch had a strong debut with the Raiders, rushing 18 times for 76 yards and catching one pass for another 16. It was a solid performance, but not one that will attract a lot of headlines, so he didn’t get much attention from the media after the game. In fact, according to what he said when he walked into Jack Del Rio’s press conference, nobody approached him.
In case you missed it, this is what he said:
“I was available for three minutes. They didn’t holler at me. I’m good, right?”
This is classic Marshawn Lynch. We’re excited to have him back in the NFL to see his antics all year long. Already in the preseason, he’s been seen crushing chicken wings in the tunnel and now this.
Not to mention, he’s back to his beast mode ways as well.
