Yesterday the Leafs had an off day and decided to have some fun on the Raptors’ court.
They played a game of bump and shot around with several key players on the team including Mitch Marner, Auston Matthews, Leo Komarov, Nazem Kadri and Tyler Bozak. Marner’s performance stood out to most because of his celebration.
Marner explained his celebration this morning at Leafs’ availability and it sounds as if he gets some of his celebration inspiration from the Cavs’ J.R. Smith.
He also had some chirps to throw out for himself and his teammates.
Now we just need a Kessel vs. Marner celebrity basketball game.
