Florida Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo reached yet another incredible milestone after his team defeated the New Jersey Devils 3-2 at the Prudential Center on Monday night.

With his 200th win with the franchise, ‘Lu’ joined Patrick Roy as the only goaltenders in NHL history to reach the number with two different teams.

The accolade is impressive when you consider that only 12 goaltenders in NHL history have managed to reached 400 wins in their career. Over his 1,029 games in the league, Roy managed to reach the mark with both the Montreal Canadiens and Colorado Avalanche and currently leads the latter in the category with 262. Luongo comfortably leads the Panthers and Vancouver Canucks in wins with 200 and 252 respectively.

The Montreal native’s most recent accomplishment is not his only impressive one from the 2017-18 campaign. On November 10th, he took sole possession of fourth place behind Ed Belfour on the all-time wins list. After tonight, he sits at 459.

With 93 more victories, Luongo would pass Roy for second most all-time wins in NHL history. He may be on his back nine, but we wouldn’t put it past Lu to stick around for a couple of more seasons.
