The good people at Sports Illustrated have teamed up with fashion experts for their Fashionable 50 list, and two of our favourite National Hockey League stars have cracked the 50.
Hockey isn’t exactly known to have the most fashionable characters, with players taking more pride in missing chiclets than showing up to the arena in a new fancy get-up. But nonetheless, two stylish hockey stars found their way onto this years list.
The two who cracked the Fashionable 50 won’t surprise many; being New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and Nashville Predators defenceman P.K. Subban.
Lundqvist came in at No. 5:
And Subban at No. 15
This year’s No. 1 was none other than Oklahoma City Thunder and NBA MVP Russell Westbrook. While some people don’t like the man’s style, he most definitely has an ability to stand out, and even rocks Anaheim Ducks jerseys on occasion.
