Buffalo Sabres goalie Robin Lehner decided to switch things up at the team’s practice on Thursday morning as he went into the team’s vault and pulled out Paul Harrison’s old mask from the 1981-82 season for warm-ups.

The 26-year-old mentioned after practice that he hopes to rock Harrison’s mask during the warm-ups of the Winter Classic, but he’ll be rocking an even cooler mask for the actual game on New Year’s Day.

The mask was designed by David Gunnarsson and includes different variations of the team’s logo, as well as two fantastic tributes to Dominik Hasek.

The right side of the mask includes a photo of Hasek from his earlier days, while the left side features a photo of the 2014 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee in the middle of a classic Hasek-style save.

Hasek played joined the Sabres in 1992 and was a member of the organization until 2001. During his nine seasons in Buffalo, the six-time Vezina Trophy winner went 234-170-70 with 55 shutouts to go along with a 2.22 goals against average and a .926 save percentage in 491 games.
