LeBron James may not be where he would like to be right now, which is still playing basketball, but he is making the most of the rare time he’s not competing in the NBA Playoffs.
James, who built the I PROMISE school for at-risk youth in Ohio, surprised the students that adore him with an addition to the institution. With none of the students expecting to see him, LeBron appeared and gave them an inspirational talk before revealing he’d be donating $1 million for a new school gym.
Say what you want about LeBron’s time on the Lakers, the questions about his leadership, or whether he’s in decline, but there is certainly no denying his generosity.
He’s doing his part to change the world for the better.
