LeBron James has accomplished a lot for a 33-year-old NBA player and tonight he will likely reach a milestone that has only been hit by six players in the past.

LeBron James is seven points away from becoming the seventh to score 30,000 points in the NBA.

Ahead of this accomplishment, he made a bizarre Instagram post in which he congratulates himself – specifically a younger version of himself – on entering this legendary group of NBA players. There’s probably close to a 100% chance that LeBron is going to hit this mark tonight, because there have been very few games where he’s scored less than seven points.

Wanna be one of the first to Congratulate you on this accomplishment/achievement tonight that you’ll reach! Only a handful has reach/seen it too and while I know it’s never been a goal of yours from the beginning try(please try) to take a moment for yourself on how you’ve done it! The House you’re about to be apart of has only 6 seats in it(as of now) but 1 more will be added and you should be very proud and honored to be invited inside. There’s so many people to thank who has help this even become possible(so thank them all) and when u finally get your moment(alone) to yourself smile, look up to the higher skies and say THANK YOU! So with that said, Congrats again Young King 🤴🏾! 1 Love! #striveforgreatness🚀 #thekidfromakron👑

With that said, as superstitious as professional athletes are, he probably could have waited until after the game.

While we did mention it was rare, we didn’t specify how rare. LeBron has only scored less than seven points in three games through his career, and they all came in his first two seasons. If it happens again tonight, there’s a 0% chance of this post not blowing up online and being thrown in his face forever. It doesn’t even matter that there’s no doubt he would get the points the next game or somewhere down the road if he was injured, but superstitious people have to be cringing hard right now.

Carter Hart won’t even get off the ice and LeBron is out here posting about accomplishments he hasn’t even reached yet.
