Martin Brodeur is one of the greatest goalies to ever play in the NHL and Monday night he’ll officially be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2018. The entire Hall of Fame weekend is full of different events with one of them being the Legends Classic that usually takes place on the Sunday before the induction.
This year’s game saw Team Belfour go head-to-head against Team Fuhr which featured Brodeur serving as a goalie for Team Belfour. He wasn’t the only member of his family on the team, though, as he was joined by his oldest son, Anthony.
With the four-time Vezina Trophy winner not playing up to head coach Lanny McDonald’s standards, he got pulled in exchange for his son in what made for an awesome moment during Hall of Fame weekend.
Fans who watched Brodeur during his playing career never really saw the three-time Stanley Cup champion and five-time William M. Jennings Trophy winner get pulled in the middle of the game, but this was a rare occasion.
