Kyrie showed up in a Kobe jersey one day before the anniversary of his death

Tuesday, January 26, 2021, will mark the one-year anniversary of the death of Kobe Bryant and the eight others who were onboard that day.

With the Brooklyn Nets playing on Monday night and off on Tuesday, Kyrie Irving made sure to do something in honour of Kobe Bryant on the eve of the anniversary of his death.
 

Irving arrived for Monday’s contest against the Miami Heat wearing a throwback No. 8 Kobe Bryant jersey as a way to pay tribute to the NBA legend.
 

A few days after the crash, Irving shared a heartfelt message about Kobe and Gigi Bryant, following a Nets victory over the Pistons.
 

There should be plenty of tributes to Kobe and memories shared over the next 24 hours or so.
