Monday, Kyle Lowry made his return to the Raptors' lineup in his hometown of Philadelphia.
The Raptors lost the game, but it was still a celebratory day for Lowry because a few hours before the game, his alma mater announced the incredible donation Lowry made to Villanova.
The $1 million donation was the largest single donation from a former player and as per ESPN, the money will go towards upgrades to the Pavillion. Lowry spends his offseason working out in the facility.
After the Raptors' game in the afternoon, Lowry was recognized at a Gift Recognition Ceremony.
There are people out there that think these larger than life athletes don't care about anyone else but themselves and incredible acts of generosity remind the world that's not even close to true. Well done Kyle! (H/T: ESPN)
