Toronto Raptors fans always saw DeMar DeRozan as the face of the franchise, but Kyle Lowry has fully embraced the city of Toronto during his time with the team and seems to grow more love for the city and the fans year after year.
One thing that Lowry and his family are extremely passionate about is giving back to the community. It doesn’t matter if it’s back in Lowry’s hometown of Philadelphia or if it’s in Toronto, the 5-time NBA All-Star is always finding ways to give back to the community and those who need it the most.
On Friday, the Lowry’s were out and about putting smiles on people’s faces as they provided a lot of people with gifts ahead of the holidays and a warm meal.
The kids got a chance to take photos with the Raptors point guard and to get autographs, and they also got to have some fun with the man who helped deliver the first ever NBA title to Toronto.
It’s great to see Lowry embrace the city of Toronto like it’s his own hometown and giving back to those who need it the most.
