Since Kobe Bryant’s passing back on January 26th, we’ve learned more and more about just how great of a player, dad, and person he was. All the stories you would have never heard, the little things that mean so much, the actions that weren’t done for recognition or fame, but just for being the right thing.
Kobe’s public memorial was held on Monday, and we learned a ton about the Black Mamba as a result of people sharing their personal stories. The program also included personal photos that had not been publically shared before, and one of them in particular stood out.
Kobe alongside Gigi dressed in his full Los Angeles Lakers uniform, joining Gigi’s class for career day. We can’t imagine what he said when it was his turn to speak among the other parental guests, but we’re guessing it was as inspiring as the rest of his legacy.
Kobe may be gone, but the lessons and legacy he leaves behind will never be lost. Rest in peace, Mamba.
