The off-season can be a stressful time for professional athletes who are out of contract, and it can be especially stressful if you're a veteran player.
Life is all good for veteran quarterback Josh McCown, though, as not only did he sign a new deal that ensures that he will be returning to the New York Jets in 2018, but he also got some tasty food while doing it. Wednesday, the 38-year-old journeyman shared a photo of himself officially putting pen to paper (finger-to-touchscreen) on a one-year $10 million deal with the Jets while waiting for his order at a Chik-fil-A drive-through.
Most people wouldn't even want to handle a $500 money transfer while juggling a food order, but it looks like McCown tapped into his professional athlete temperament to stay cool under pressure, signing his deal while waiting for fast food chicken.
Now that's what you call living your best life.
