It was almost one year ago that Jose Canseco took to Twitter to publically air some very dirty laundry. In a tweet that certainly wasn’t afraid of burning a number of bridges, Canseco accused former MLB slugger Alex Rodriguez of cheating on his fiancé Jennifer Lopez with Canseco’s ex-wife Jessica.
Canseco didn’t give much in the way of context, and Jessica quickly came out to completely kibosh the claims, and overall it seems as though there wasn’t much weight put into the accusations. Even still, Canseco would continue to bash A-Rod from time to time, including challenging him to a fight.
That was a year ago, but his latest tweet suggests that he’s nowhere close to over that grudge. Canseco wished his followers a Happy Easter, in fact, he wished nearly everyone a happy Easter.
Nearly being the key word.
Who knows if there’s more to this story than what we see here, but as long as the drama keeps happening in front of our eyes we’ll continue to be engaged with it.
