Jordan Staal enjoyed a special night on Monday by suiting up in his 1,000th NHL game. Unfortunately, the Carolina Hurricanes couldn’t get him the win, but they still did their best to make the evening special.
That included hosting Staal’s family. Luckily for us, cameras caught this absolutely adorable moment as Staal interacted with his family while on this ice.
The ceremony also included a presentation in which Staal was honoured alongside his family.
The moment was clearly a very touching one for the 1,000 game veteran.
