It was a night off for Jonathan Quick, who watched from the bench in Anaheim as back-up Jack Campbell minded net for the Los Angeles Kings on Monday night. Even still, he came through with the helping hand for a young fan who was struck by a puck in the first period.

After spotting the fan crying in the crowd, Quick decided to sign a puck and have a member of the Kings’ training staff deliver it to the young fan during the game. After that? She was all smiles!

Unfortunately, the Kings couldn’t send young Kimberly home with a win, falling in a 4-2 loss to the Ducks.

Still, Quick is a winner in the hearts of many hockey fans.
