John Tortorella is a fan favourite thanks to his soundbites and quotes, but he's also a really good coach and we imagine Columbus fans couldn't be happier he's their team's coach.

The reigning Jack Adams Award winner gives us gold like the quote above from the playoffs last season from time to time, and by the looks of it he and the Blue Jackets will be back in the playoffs come 2018.

Heading into their game against the Senators Friday night, the Blue Jackets are riding a five-game winning streak and are in first place in the Metropolitan Division.

On Thursday, the Blue Jackets practiced before enjoying Thanksgiving and Tortorella explained the science of forward lines in a NSFW and honest way that every hockey fan will find enjoyable:

Clearly what Tortorella and the Blue Jackets' coaching staff has been trying lately has been working in regards to wins.

Scoring, on the other hand, has been a little hard to come by as they are in the bottom half of the league in goals for. Wins are more important, though, and Torts will take low-scoring victories.
