There’s no better feeling than seeing your friends get to live out their dreams.
So when our own Jesse Pollock was able to take the ice with the Winnipeg Jets for their annual Skills Competition, we were all ecstatic.
Seriously, look at the joy on his face. How can you not root for him?
Starting off the competition, Jesse competed in the Fastest Skater competition, posting a 15.78! Usain Bolt has yet to respond to this feat by Jess.
Next up was accuracy shooting, in which Jesse showcased his sniping ability! What an absolute dagger from the kid, eh?
You know that quote from The Office when Michael says he loves inside jokes and hopes to be a part of one, one day? Well, we can check that item off our bucket list as David Rittich took a play out of Z’s playbook, pranking Jesse by messing with his stick ahead of the hardest shot contest!
If that isn’t a full circle moment, we’re not sure what is.
And if you wanted to check if your glasses were dirty, we recommend cleaning them now because that’s not Jets legend Teemu Selänne. That’s Jesse Pollock! It’s very easy to mix the two of them up, so we understand the confusion.
Lastly, something we'll get to see unfold when the Behind The Scenes video airs is Pierre Luc Debois wearing Jesse's mitts during the relay competition!
Getting to see someone so passionate about their team, have the opportunity to skate alongside them and compete in such a fun competition is absolutely incredible. We’re extremely proud of Jesse and cannot express how much of a world-class organization the Jets are.
