It didn’t take James Neal very long to become a fan favourite in Las Vegas. Not only did he record the first ever goal and first ever game-winning goal in franchise history on the same night, but he started the season with six goals in his first four games.
The Golden Knights have managed to build a pretty impressive fan base through their first 48 games in franchise history as they head into Tuesday night’s game against the Calgary Flames with a nine-point lead in the Pacific Division.
Following the team’s practice on Tuesday morning, a Golden Knights fan watching from the stands had one of his dreams become reality when Neal handed off one of his sticks to the youngster.
Neal is just one reason why the Golden Knights have been so successful this season as he’s already scored 22 goals this season to go along with 12 assists and 34 points in 48 games.
