Devils take Hughes first overall at NHL Draft

While Jack Hughes has had a while to prepare for his drafting to the NHL, you could say he’s on quite a crash course of enlightenment towards what his new life is going to be.

The spotlight is brighter than ever before as we now officially know which team he’ll be suiting up for. The highly-touted 1st overall pick has been handling the added attention well, but we still see that boyish pre-NHL side of him at times.

Maybe none more so than this money quote he dropped after he flew on a private plane from Vancouver to his new stomping ground of New Jersey.
