Around the world, different countries are in different stages of dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. Obviously, in North America, the spread of coronavirus is a more recent development than in other hotspots throughout Europe or Asia, and many Canadians and Americans are just coming to terms with the sports world’s sudden hiatus.
Over in South Korea, however, sports are actually beginning to kick back into gear. As ESPN notes, after a four-week hiatus, the Korean Basketball League is returning with games scheduled for the end of the month. Fans won’t be in attendance, but it’s definitely progress!
Internationally, South Korea has been regarded as a positive example of how to handle the pandemic, and it certainly is jarring to see another country get their sports back while, over in North America, ours just went on hiatus.
We guess the question now is... how can we watch the KBL?
