What if we told you everything you've ever known about ice in a hockey arena was an absolute lie? Okay, maybe we're being a little too dramatic, but we know for a fact this video will blow your mind.

Apparently not all of the markings on the ice are actually painted on in NHL arenas. Amanda Stein who covers the Devils tweeted this video out Monday of New Jersey staff members watering the crease and she uncovered a secret a lot of fans had no idea about.
