From Nike taking over the NBA jersey rights to teams rocking sponsor patches on their uniforms for the first time in league history, the NBA is going to look a little different next season.

On  Monday, the Charlotte Hornets unveiled their brand new uniforms for the 2017-18 season and there’s going to be a different brand occupying the spot on the jersey where the Nike swoosh is supposed to go.

Since Jordan Brand is a Nike property, the Hornets have decided to use the Jumpman logo on their jerseys moving forward instead of the Nike swoosh.

Logo status. The Jumpman has a permanent home on the @Hornets jersey.

With the new addition to the 2017-18 Charlotte Hornets uniforms, it will be the first time the Jordan Brand is featured on a U.S. pro team.

It’s unknown whether or not the team is going to reveal alternate jerseys, but if they do you can bet they’ll be branded with the Jumpman logo and not the Nike swoosh.
