Everyone’s favourite house-elf makes an appearance on Anton Khudobin’s new goalie mask for next season.
Designed by Sylvie Marsolais, this mask boasts noted free elf Dobby air-bushed on one side. On the other side, there’s a Stars-themed sock, referencing the sock that freed Dobby in the books.
This is sort of a Harry Potter deep cut! Instead of going for one of the more obvious characters, like Ron or Hermione or Harry Potter himself, we like that Khudobin went a little deeper with Dobby. Big Harry Potter guy, Anton Khudobin.
That makes at least two fans of the Wizarding World in the NHL that we know of — Brent Burns literally wears his love for the series with a Hogwarts tattoo on his thigh.
