Alright, we seriously need to know what the Blue Jays are eating for breakfast these days because they are on absolute fire.
It seems like every day a new statistic arises on one of the Jays young guns and honestly, we’re not mad one bit. Simply keep ‘em coming, boys.
As the Jays took on the Red Sox for the third game of their series at Fenway, not only were they able to set a new league record for the most amount of home runs hit by a visiting team at Fenway (Not a big deaaaaal), but some players were able to put themselves in the history books.
Following his league-leading 20th home run yesterday, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. continued to let the good times roll as he secured No. 21 of the season in the top of the 7th inning, becoming the fastest Jays player to reach 21 homers in a season since Delgado over 20 years ago.
And it doesn’t stop there, folks.
Bo Bichette was able to punch his ticket into yet another Blue Jays record book, as he became the third player in Jays history to put up 4 H and 5 R in a single game, succeeding Josh Donaldson and Orlando Hudson.
Again, we would like to simply ask what these kids are eating!?
This team is taking the league by storm.
