Google is the greatest source of knowledge in this technological day and age. When you want the answer to a question, you go to Google. When you want updated stats for players or standings for teams, Goggle's got you covered.
As the old saying goes, though, don't believe everything you read because not everything online and on Google is true.
We recently saw an example of this in the hockey world as Google had the Vegas Golden Knights listed as an AHL hockey team, along with every other team in the NHL's Pacific Division.
Google got it wrong, but the mistake was one we would have accepted any day over the most recent mistake in regards to what Google listed the Golden Knights as most recently.
Vegas wasn't the only team listed as a USFL team, either.
The entire Pacific Division was incorrectly listed again, this time as a part of the United States Football League, a league that has been active since 1985 and was only active for three seasons.
The one thing that's not incorrect, though, is what place the Golden Knights are in right now. Casual hockey fans might think it's a mistake, but Vegas is still in first in the Pacific and they aren't slowing down.
