The Vegas Golden Knights officially unveiled their mascot on Friday night during their game against the Detroit Red Wings and it’s unlike any mascot we’ve ever seen before.
This is not a prank, this is actually the Vegas Golden Knights’ official mascot and the name of it is Chance.
The Golden Knights got off to such a hot start way before the season even started thanks to their social media team, and the team’s performance on the ice helped them even more. However, the team’s mascot seems to put them two steps back, as plenty of fans have been roasting the team online since they unveiled Chance.
While some people find the team’s new mascot to be completely random, it’s actually supposed to be a giant Gila monster, which is one of two known species of venomous lizards in North America. Either way, it’s still very random and nothing what we expected.
