One of the best parts about no longer being a rookie is getting to pull rookie pranks on new rookies.
Bucs superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who’s now in his fifth NBA season, has been around long enough to see some pranks over the years.
NBA freshman are expected to perform “rookie duties,” which can range from picking up dinner tabs, looking after one of your teammates' kids, or tying the shoes of a veteran before practice.
If you're a rookie on the Bucks, then you're expected to make sure Giannis has a towel on his chair at all times. Sterling Brown is in his first NBA season after being selected 46th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft by Milwaukee, and on Tuesday night, he was on the receiving end of the prank.
According to the Greek Freak, Brown didn’t perform his duty of putting a towel on his chair, and there was a price to pay for it, and it involved one of the most classical stunts out there.
Brown found his Jeep filled with popcorn.
Check out Giannis and Jabari Parker eating the popcorn, to which Parker says he’s just trying to help him get the porcorn out of his car.
Let’s just hope it wasn’t too buttery, as Brown already needs a good car detailing job to suck all the popcorn out.
Rookies, take note of fellow Bucks rookie D.J. Wilson, who says his car is at the dealership and won’t be delivered until next year.
