A lot of people thought Super Bowl LI was over when the Atlanta Falcons took a 21-3 lead over the New England Patriots and one of those people was Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard.
A fan by the name of John Goehrke came across Bouchard’s tweet and bet her that the Patriots would come back to win the game in exchange for a date with her. Thinking it was an easy win, Bouchard gladly accepted.
The rest is history now as the Patriots pulled off a miraculous comeback to defeat the Atlanta Falcons and Bouchard went through with her Twitter bet and went out on a date with Goehrke shortly after the Super Bowl.
The two took in a Brooklyn Nets game and it seemed to go pretty well considering Bouchard agreed to go on a second date with Goehrke and was hanging out with him again on Wednesday.
