Last year, the Patriots' Super Bowl win was one of, if not the greatest of all-time. Down 28-3, they never lost hope and somehow came all the way back to tie the game and send it to overtime.
In OT, the Falcons didn't even get a chance to end the game as Tom Brady and the Patriots took the ball right down the field on the first possession to win the game. New England came out on top and anyone who decided to put some money on them at halftime cashed in big, too.
John Goehrke, for example, cashed in, but in a very different was as he made a date-bet with Genie Bouchard that he ended up winning thanks to the comeback.
This year, the two are back at the Super Bowl for a proper Super Bowl date and the custom jerseys they're wearing at the game are perfect.
James White is No. 28 for New England and Stephen Gostkowski is No. 3, but the real message is 28-3 and the jerseys commemorate the moment John made the bet and the comeback that brought the two together.
Plus, it's a nice shot at those Falcons fans who still aren't over the absolutely heartbreaking loss.
