Mathieu Joseph was selected 120th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and is currently playing in the AHL with the Syracuse Crunch.
Last year, the Laval, Quebec native was playing with the Saint John Sea Dogs in the QMJHL, but he also was part of Team Canada’s World Junior team that took home silver in the tournament. As many fans know, Team Canada lost to the Americans in the gold medal game, but it was decided in a shootout.
With Friday afternoon’s game heading towards the shootout Joseph let everyone know how he feels about the shootout.
Joseph finished with one goal and four assists for five points in seven games last year and currently has seven goals and 20 points through 30 AHL games.
