If there's anything that people born in the Information Age love to do, it's compare celebrities to other figures in popular culture. John legend looks like Arthur, Klay Thompson got compared to the PBS logo, and now Sixers star Ben Simmons apparently looks like the Mona Lisa.
It all started in a Reddit thread in the NBA subreddit with an earnest question: "Is it me or does Ben Simmons resemble the Mona Lisa. Here's the evidence to support the claim, as shared in the thread.
It will be pretty hard to unsee those images, as we would have to agree with the Reddit user that there certainly is some resemblance between Simmons and the Italian Renaissance portrait painting. As of this moment Simmons has not commented on the matter, but you would have to imagine that at some point he will. He'll just need to hop off playing the remastered edition of Call of Duty 4.
