In case you forgot, there is another outdoor game this year in the NHL and while many will hate on how many of these the NHL does every year, we have one reason to love it.
New jerseys.
We are more starved for jersey designs that we have been in years past as Adidas decided to steer clear of alternate jerseys for this season, so knowing that teams will use a new variation for the outdoor games comforts us a little bit. It also seems very difficult to keep jerseys under wraps. Almost every year, an online store or brick and mortar store has a slip up that reveals the jerseys before the team and that may have happened again.

Obviously this isn't a game official jersey considering it's the infant size, but you can see stadium series logo on the shoulder of the jersey.
Funny enough, the Leafs had a similar thing happen to them last season.
An infant jersey ended up revealing the Centennial jersey before the team was able to. Of course, with the infant jerseys, you won’t always have all the details on the jersey so this may not be the final jersey, or it’s possible that it won’t be the jersey at all.
The Capitals are in their third outdoor game, and their last two jerseys have been some of our favourites, but this one wouldn’t rank too highly among other outdoor jerseys.
