A lot of sports organizations take advantage of Valentine’s Day each year by creating their own Valentine’s greeting cards featuring players on their roster and cheesy puns.
On Wednesday morning, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ social media team thought it would be a good idea to send the Edmonton Eskimos a Valentine’s card featuring newest Blue Bomber receiver Adarius Bowman and it did not end well for the Bombers.
The Bombers’ social team didn’t go down without a fight, though, as they kept it going with another tweet.
Once again, this did not end well for the Bombers.
We think it’s safe to say the Eskimos won that battle between the two teams, but Milt Stegall didn’t stay silent on Twitter after he was brought up in one of the tweets.
The Eskimos might have won the battle against the Bombers, but Stegall certainly came out on top in that one.
The BC Lions’ social media team decided to chime in on the battle and fired a pretty good shot at Edmonton.
However, the Eskimos’ social team clearly brought their a-game on Wednesday and was quick to react.
There’s clearly no love between the CFL’s West Division teams as the Lions and Bombers also got into it on their own.
